no justice, no peace - know justice, know peace [Aug. 14th, 2006|03:43 pm]
Dear friends,

In most religious traditions there is some kind of tool, be it meditation, prayer, or some ritual that is aimed to bring us to closer to a higher power--literally. The trouble is that over time, it became cultural, then gradually it lost its meaning all together for too many. Ironically, it is that connection with a higher power--the Lord, Allah, the Creator, the Most Gracious and Merciful, etc...that is supposed to help us live our lives to the fullest, with utmost dignity and highest level of consciousness. It is this connection that lets us live as the representative of God on this earth.

In the past few days many of us have felt hopeless about the atrocity and corruption that happens in our names and ruins so many lives, and aside from protest, petitions, and donations, we are left with prayers to offer. These prayers, however, are not the least that we can do. As Dr. Masaru Emoro shows us with his research in water droplets, every intention has a physical manifestation on some level. For instance, you can compare the impact of the two statements "peace" and something negative like " you make me sick--i will kill you" on a water droplet to see how it effects the formation:

The point: our intentions and thoughts make a difference, no matter how small. Please read the following artcile by Larry Decter--its a study that measures the physical impact of meditation, not just on health but on the entire population of a village. According to the study, once 1 % of the total population of the village began meditating, that village in the Chouf mountains of Lebanon--where much of the fighting in 1983 during the Israeli involvement in the Lebanese Civil War was located--experienced a 70 % drop in fatalities.

I wanted this to be a reminder of the powerful methods we were given through religion and spirituality--a reminder to myself and others to not disregard prayers, suplications, and meditation. The end of the article emphasizes this by encouraging us to go to the root of our traditions, to actually try to understand the words (especially the Arabic in duas, zhekr, and salaht). Lets be aware of the power, importance, and beauty of these prayers, and use them to the best of our abilities to bring ourselves closer to the divine Truth and all that coincides with it, especially these days when military powers seem so intent on doing the reverse through their aggression and deceit.

always ends up right where it began - creation is a movement - creativity is that which moves it......... history repeats itself - while creativity continues its course of constant reinvention - affirmation - xploration - moving while standing still - standing fast - standing up in the sun as a strait spined smiling clear signal - a healthy cell in heavy circulation - like the best music u ever heard like the best moment u can conceive / achieve / believe is before u 2 breathe in and be........ when it all comes right down 2 it - every1s going 2 have 2 just relax, make balance, chill out, reflect, get healthy, be honest, communicate, clear their mind, clear their channels, respect each other, L.O.V.E. unconditionally and really come 2 grips with what that means in practice not theory... its always too late for never....... no xcuses no delay..... do it 2day... drop vanity gain sanity......... b vain go insane... as the story goes - its a free-will cheap thrill quarantined space - until 1 comes 2 know that we're all saved by grace - the grace of god ............. the source of all sustenance - that springs from within........ the higher - the heaven - the one love - the spin.....

thank you for your kindness and inspiration.

A prayer to The One:
"If you're not here, nothing grows.
I lack clarity. My words
tangle and knot up.

How to cure bad water? Send it back to the river.
How to cure bad habits? Send me back to you."
